1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions are intended to govern access to the TrueBond website and participation in TrueBond services, programmes, events and related activities.
TrueBond is being developed as a relationship and marriage platform offering services such as matchmaking, relationship coaching, counselling, education, community programmes and events.
The current website is a prototype. Demonstration forms do not submit information, and prototype buttons do not create bookings or service agreements.
2. Eligibility
Adult matchmaking, coaching and counselling services are intended for persons aged 18 years or older.
By requesting an adult service, a person represents that they are legally able to participate and that the information they provide is accurate to the best of their knowledge.
Any future programme involving younger participants must operate under separate safeguarding, consent and access rules.
3. Acceptable website use
Visitors may use the website to learn about TrueBond, review available services and submit genuine enquiries when operational functionality becomes available.
Visitors must not:
- Use the website for unlawful or deceptive purposes.
- Submit false information or impersonate another person.
- Attempt to interfere with website security or availability.
- Harvest, copy or misuse another person's information.
- Upload malicious code or attempt unauthorised access.
- use TrueBond services to harass, threaten or exploit another person.
4. Nature of TrueBond services
TrueBond intends to provide structured relationship support and education. The exact scope, duration, fee and delivery method for each paid service should be explained before a client commits to it.
TrueBond may recommend a different service, preparation step or external professional where that direction appears more appropriate than the service originally requested.
Availability may depend on staff capacity, suitability, location, scheduling and the nature of the request.
5. Matchmaking and introductions
Matchmaking is a guided process and not a guarantee that a participant will receive an introduction, enter a relationship or marry.
Possible introductions may depend on mutual suitability, consent, availability and TrueBond's professional judgment.
TrueBond does not guarantee:
- A particular number of introductions.
- An introduction within a particular period.
- Mutual attraction or compatibility.
- The continuation of any relationship.
- Engagement, marriage or any particular outcome.
Every participant remains responsible for their personal decisions, communication, meetings and relationship choices.
6. Participant responsibilities
A person using TrueBond services is expected to:
- Provide honest and materially complete information.
- Communicate respectfully with staff and other participants.
- Obtain consent before recording or sharing private conversations.
- Respect another person's decision to decline or end communication.
- Inform TrueBond of significant changes relevant to an active service.
- Use reasonable personal judgment before meeting or forming a relationship with another person.
- Follow the agreed service, appointment and payment arrangements.
7. Privacy and confidentiality
TrueBond intends to handle personal information and private conversations according to its approved Privacy Policy and applicable legal obligations.
Confidentiality is not absolute. Information may need to be disclosed where required by law, where valid consent has been given, or where a legitimate safeguarding or security concern requires action.
Participants must not publish or distribute another participant's personal information without appropriate permission.
8. Fees and payments
Prices, payment schedules and included services will be communicated before a paid service begins. No prototype page currently creates a valid payment obligation.
When paid services become available:
- Fees should be stated clearly before payment.
- Any recurring or instalment arrangement should be explained in writing.
- Additional fees should not be charged without prior notice and an appropriate basis.
- Receipts or payment confirmation should be provided.
Final payment procedures and accepted payment methods remain to be confirmed before launch.
9. Cancellations, rescheduling and refunds
The final cancellation and refund policy will be provided before paid bookings open.
That policy should explain:
- How a booking may be cancelled or rescheduled.
- Any notice period required before an appointment.
- Whether a reasonable administrative charge may apply.
- Circumstances in which a full or partial refund may be available.
- What happens when TrueBond cancels or cannot deliver a booked service.
Nothing in these terms is intended to remove any consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Professional and service boundaries
TrueBond relationship education, matchmaking and coaching are not substitutes for emergency, medical, psychiatric, financial or legal services.
Where a matter falls outside the competence or approved scope of a TrueBond service, the participant may be advised to seek an appropriately qualified external professional.
The professional status and responsibilities of individual counsellors or advisers should be described accurately before their services are offered.
11. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the TrueBond name, website content, branding, programme materials, guides, graphics and original resources belong to TrueBond or are used with appropriate permission.
Visitors may use publicly available material for personal and non-commercial reference. Content may not be copied, republished, sold, modified or used to create a competing service without permission.
12. Third-party services and links
The operational platform may use third-party providers for areas such as hosting, email, messaging, payment processing, video meetings or event delivery.
TrueBond is not responsible for independent third-party websites merely because a link appears on the TrueBond website. Visitors should review the relevant third party's terms and privacy information.
13. Service limitations and liability
TrueBond intends to provide its services with reasonable care. However, relationship decisions involve personal judgment, human behaviour and circumstances that TrueBond cannot control.
TrueBond does not accept responsibility for another participant's independent statements, decisions or conduct except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude responsibility for fraud, deliberate wrongdoing or any liability that applicable law does not permit TrueBond to exclude.
14. Suspension or ending a service
TrueBond may refuse, suspend or end access to a service where reasonably necessary because of:
- False or materially misleading information.
- Abusive, threatening or exploitative conduct.
- Repeated violation of service boundaries.
- Non-payment under an agreed arrangement.
- Security, privacy or safeguarding concerns.
- Use of the service for unlawful purposes.
Any financial consequence should be determined according to the approved cancellation and refund policy and applicable law.
15. Governing law and disputes
The final terms are expected to be governed by the laws applicable to TrueBond's approved operating entity and location in Nigeria.
The final legal entity name, registered address, jurisdiction and dispute-resolution procedure must be inserted before launch.
TrueBond should first be given a reasonable opportunity to review and respond to a complaint, without restricting any lawful right to approach a court, regulator or consumer-protection authority.
16. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated when TrueBond's technology, services, fees, legal obligations or operating arrangements change.
The approved effective date and revision date will be displayed when the final terms become operational.
17. Contact information
Questions or complaints concerning these terms may be directed to TrueBond through its approved contact channel.
